"They say the reason we have night and day is because the earth is constantly spinning, and part of that time we face the sun and the other part we don’t. That’s the scientific explanation, anyway. As for me, I believe the reasoning behind night and day is a little simpler and much more meaningful. With every sunrise, there is a new day born. The glowing light fills the darkness in my room and when I open my eyes and greet this new day, I have a choice. I can turn away from it, and carry on wishing for a different day, or I can choose to embrace it, accept it, and seize it. I believe we have night so that new days may be born, and we can start fresh. Fresh is good. Fresh is possibility."
